After retiring from teaching, I was looking for a passion project my wife and I could do anywhere. The stock market intrigued me, but I was wary of it, thinking it was rigged against regular investors like me. I decided to teach myself value investing using a popular book by Benjamin Graham. But I struggled to calculate value from financial reports and needed a simpler way.
